November Matches

South Oxon and Oxford Archers got their first wins of the year with a two close matches this month.

Banbury played host to South Oxon and again fell just short of victory, this time by just 7 points, 943 to 936. Both teams improved on last month's scores.

It was a low scoring affair as Oxford Archers hosted Windrush for OA's first match of the season. A limited team on both sides due to date difficulties led to a relatively close victory for Oxford, coming out winners by 801 points to 776. Both teams will hope to improve on these scores in the new year.

The league now stands with 4 teams on 4 points each, with the University in 1st place on account of their impressive score in the first match. Several other teams are very close, so we're looking forwards to the team event at the County Indoors!
