Archers

Senior Squad

The senior squad meets approximately once a month during the outdoor season. Its aims are to develop the archers in the county who wish to focus on performance, give those archers and opportunity to meet other archers with similar aspirations, and to select the county teams to represent Oxfordshire at inter-county tournaments.

In the winter we are meeting every week on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm for fitness sessions at Oxford Rugby Club. All are welcome!

Eligibility

To be eligible for the senior squad you should be a 1st class archer. For indoors, this translates into approximately 500 for recurve ladies, 520 for recurve gents and 540 for compounds on a Portsmouth round. Junior Squad

At present there is no structured junior schedule, but they are welcome at any outdoor senior squad sessions.
